About Us – The Frederick Basket Company has been a Frederick tradition for over 17 years. Our store is located in the Everedy Square & Shab Row historic district of downtown Frederick Maryland. Everedy Square offers a relaxing shopping experience in historic buildings spread over four blocks on East Street. Our current location was once the home of the Everedy Company, where the Everedy Bottle Capper was invented and manufactured. Our front store window showcases a mural by the artist known simply as “Yemi”. This mural depicts the “Spirit of Frederick”, we also carry a specialty line of products that share this namesake.
We are a gourmet/gift service. We have a vast array of baskets on the website to choose from. Our store specialty is our Maryland Gift Basket. All gift baskets are prepared to order in our Frederick Maryland store. Since each gift is prepared when ordered, we can make changes to the contents if need be. If you do not find exactly what you are looking for, please call us and we will design a gift especially for your recipient. We enjoy interacting with our customers, so please feel free to call us with any questions.
We are proud to carry Maryland Wines & Beer from local Maryland wineries & breweries. We create beautiful Maryland Gift baskets using your choice of wine, and or beers paired with our vast array of gourmet foods that are perfect accompaniment to that special bottle. Alcohol cannot be shipped into, or out of the State, however, we are happy to deliver these gift baskets locally or you may pick them up in our store.
